Marching Forward 2

 

All men love to MARCH and not CRAWL, only that many are limited by WEIGHTS. The attached picture showed that the man has the physicality to march forward but the huge weight upon him wouldn't just allow him. It is then important we deal with this foundation in our 2nd edition of MARCHING FORWARD. 

"Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us (Hebrews 12 vs 1)."

Assuredly the Lord is available to equip men but what separates us is SIN (Isaiah 59 vs 1-2), for long do we then think we can patch up things before God? Absolutely you can't go far or sustain progress while toiling with sin, it brings Heaven to tears when one who should be a DELIVERER needs DELIVERANCE, how much more painful it is when he or she doesn't even see a need for deliverance. 

The Lord told Joshua to march forward with his troops, the Lord told him he shall take over the promised land. God is not a liar, He would surely fulfill whatsoever that comes out of His mouth. But Achan did evil, he committed sin and covered it up, afterwards they were defeated by a small city, they couldn't go forward, the weight brought upon them by Achan stopped their progress (Joshua 7). 

Beloved, this is a New Year with great things in store for you from God, are you going to allow those wights take it away from you? God cannot be mocked, He clearly stated it in His word "But God's truth stands firm like a great rock, and nothing can shake it. It is a foundation stone with these words written on it: 'The Lord knows those who are really his,' and 'A person who calls himself a Christian should not be doing things that are wrong (2 Timothy 2 vs 19 TLB)." He desires that we live a life with no sin "He himself has said You must be holy, for I am holy (1 Peter 1 vs 16 TLB)."

I know right now you are asking, is this even possible? Apostle Paul showed us in " Romans 7 vs 15 I don't understand myself at all, for I really want to do what is right, but I can't. I do what I don't want to- what I hate. vs 22-25 I love to do God's will so far as my new nature is concerned; but there is something else deep within me, in my lower nature, that is at war with my mind and wins the fight and makes me a slave to the sin that is within me. In my mind I want to be God's willing servant, but instead I find myself still enslaved to sin. So you see how it is: my new life tells me to do right, but the old nature that is still inside me loves to sin. Oh, what a terrible predicament I'm in! Who will free me from slavery to this deadly lower nature? Thank God! It has been done by Jesus Christ our Lord. He has set me free."

That issue persists because you are yet to cry out for HELP from Jesus Christ, remember while Apostle Peter was walking on the water, he was distracted and lost gaze on Jesus Christ but he was wise enough to cry out for help and Jesus helped him. When would you do the same beloved? Principles cannot help you; personal strategy would only fail you; only Jesus can truly lift those weights off your neck, so you can MARCH FORWARD. 

Beloved forget what men would say, run to the cross now when you still can, as the next minute might be too late for you. He loves you and His thought towards you is of good but He is being limited by your sins and weights, LET HIM FIX YOU. You can't hide fire under your bosom for too long (Proverbs 6 vs 27), cry out now for help from Masturbation; Lies; Fornication; Adultery; Drinking; Fraud; Addictions; Pornography; Lukewarmness; e.t.c. 

If you are ready to give your life to Christ, say this after me with a determined heart “Lord Jesus here I am, I am a sinner and I have cut short your glory, Lord am sorry for my sins and I will never return back to them, I accept you today into my life as my Lord and Saviour, use your blood to wash away my sins and write my name in the book of life”.

I welcome you into the Kingdom, just make sure you join a believing Church where the Word of God is being taught and make your Bible your friend not forgetting to be having your quiet time every day. God bless you!

Marching Forward (1)

 “A fire devours before them, and behind them a flame burns; the land is like the Garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; surely nothing shall escape them (Joel 2 vs 3)”.

Ordinary men walk but soldiers March, where ordinary men lobby and beg to enter, they clear the way when a soldier appears. It is not about the gender, rather it is about the uniform on him or her, but any man who follows a soldier to the battlefield without being trained or fully kitted is as good as dead.

Becoming a Soldier is not something you are born with, instead you get trained to become it, our text says “NOTHING SHALL ESCAPE”. I liken that battlefield to this world, this world is full of battles, if you fail to become a Soldier, death becomes inevitable with nothing coming out of it. You can’t therefore sit on the fence rather you must choose one, like earlier emphasized you are not born with it, rather you need to go through the trainings. 

Any man that will REIGN must have being TRAINED, the best tutor to train us is Jesus Christ, commune with Him daily (Psalm 42 vs 1) and He will train you on how to stop walking but March upon your enemies and become a Victor in this world (Isaiah 41 vs 10). Just as earthly soldiers have their kit so also Heavenly have theirs, study Ephesians 6 vs 11-17.  IT IS TIME TO MARCH FORWARD, GUARD YOURSELF WITH THE ARMOUR, GO THROUGH THE TRAININGs CONTINUALLY, THE DEVIL WILL SEE YOU AND FLEE (AMEN).

This is a New Year and absolutely the way you start the New Year is very important. There is a need to be fully kitted, for you to acquire your promise Land there are Anakims you need to conquer.

YE ARE CALLED TO SERVE

 

“He chose David also his servant, and took him from the sheepfolds: from following the ewes great with young he brought him to feed Jacob his people and Israel his inheritance (Psalm 78 vs 70–71)”.

David was a man who is known by all as a King ordained by God, the general believe is that he was anointed to RULE over the people. But the scripure above is drawing our attention to something different which David did, there is an inscription on the wall of my church which says “this building is built for the glory of God and service unto humanity”. Note that word “service”, Kind David was a king who devotedly served the people, he wasn't a leader who extort rather one who led by example. 

When God calls you or gives you a gift it is to SERVE and not to RULE. The way God designed the post of leadership is to SERVE the followers and not extorting or ruling them, a man who is not ready to serve is not worthy of being a leader. Our Lord Jesus Christ while He was on earth, despite the grace upon His life and strong reationship with the Father yet He served the disciples, scripture said He washed the disciples feet (John 13 vs 1-17).

 

As the Messiah sent to the earth, He ought to be the one to be washed of His feet. But Him having a servant heart attitude, He washed theirs instead, when would we have such in our churches, gatherings, working places, states, country, nation and world in general? Many of the issues and challenges around the world now is because of men and women who see position as a place of extorting or ruling and not serving. 

Our obedience to God’s instructions shows that we are truly His son and daughter, I show unto you His instruction on this matter “Matthew 13 vs 14-17 KJV; And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: (15) For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. (16) But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. (17) For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

Positions can be taken away but actions taken while on that position exist forever, wherever you find yourself as a leader make welfare of your followers your main goal (SERVE THEM). Our nation is at the state it is because we lack leaders that are ready to serve, does it have to continue that way? NO!!!

REACTIVATING DORMANT GIFT.

 

“So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet – a vast army (Ezekiel 37 vs 10)”.

 

          In the banking world, an account is said to be dormant when no debit or credit transaction occurrs on the account for more than a year, the channel of making it active is called REACTIVATION. The reactivation process will warrant some necessary documents to be provided and within minutes, status is changed from DORMANCY to ACTIVE. While growing up you will recall that there were some certain positive traits and gifts you noticed, people also further confirmed this to you. The gifts may be but not limited to the following; writing, singing, preaching, drawing, talking, dancing, singing, organizing, e.t.c. There are some of us while we were kids, we had great passion for some these things but because of discouragement from parents, school teachers, friends, environment, the gift became dormant and the passion for it went down the drain.

 

          The good news however is that the gift is not dead, it is just dormant and it is not too late to break the dormancy. What are those things you loved doing while you were growing up? What are those things you find joy doing? What are those things you stopped doing because you were discouraged? THE TIME HAS COME TO PICK THEM UP AGAIN, IT IS TIME TO BREAK THOSE DORMANT GIFT AND REACTIVATE THEM.

Just as the banking world, there are documents required to reactivating those gifts;

• 1.     Encourage yourself from within.
• 2.     Pray to God for guidance and direction.
• 3.     Constant relationship with God through study of the word of God and prayers.
• 4.     Relate with those that are in the field and learn.
• 5.     Separate yourself from environment and people that gives negative words.

 

          Resume singing, Resume drawing, Resume talking in helping lives, Resume writing, Resume dancing, Resume preaching, Resume giving to the needy, Resume ………………………………………….! (Fill in there that which you once loved doing and resume back to to).

 

NOTE:

(1)   The devil will not attack whatever that is not a threat to his kingdom.

(2) The discouragement is repeatedly coming because its success will be a great impact.

(3)   Your prosperity is embedded in discovering your purpose/gift and walking in it.

#Don’t allow anybody to discourage you.

Whose Word Are You Holding Unto?

 

“I will hear what the Lord will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly (Psalm 85 vs 8)”.

Different people may talk but only God has the final say, irrespective of what a man says, if God didn’t pronounce it, such words amount to nothing (Lamentations 3:27). It was not man’s word that created you, you were fashioned by God Himself. 

Here is my question to you, whose word do you believe (Man or God)? Their words are deduced from what they see presently but THE ANCIENT OF DAYS IS SPEAKING FROM THE FUTURE, God is saying though your beginning may be small but your end shall be great (Job 8:7). Are they saying you have nothing? God is saying your cup shall run over (Psalm 23:5), are they saying nothing shall come out of your Nazareth, God is saying out of your belly shall flow rivers of waters (John 7:38).

 

Brethren, believe not their words but hold unto God and His word, when He says your door is opened, no man can call it closed (Revelations 3:8). Haman said Mordecia will die but God changed it (Esther 5:13-14), THEY ARE NOTHING BUT NOISE MAKERS, HOLD UNTO TO THE VOICE OF GOD.

 

The doctor, the government, friends, family, economy, place of work does not have the final say, ONLY THE ALMIGHTY GOD HAS THE FINAL SAY and surely He will speak peace unto you.

Beyond the storm you are seeing now, look unto the Lord and hold unto Him via His word. He is very much interested in you and wants the best for you, let the voice of God supercede the voice of men over your life.

THE RARE MEN

 

“Gideon and his three hundred arrived at the Jordan and crossed over. They were bone-tired but still pressing the pursuit (Judges 8 vs 4)”.

Men that understands mystery behind urgency will know that our place of rest is at the feet of God in Heaven, looking at the scripture above humanly speaking they were tired but something was shut up in their bones that made them to keep pursuing (Jeremiah 20 vs 9). Note: Your passion for the things of God is not to be short time. They never allowed their tiredness to affect their pursuit for victory, they never allowed their tiredness to affect their pursuit for possession. DON’T BE TIRED BUT KEEP PURSUING, YOU ARE JUST ABOUT TO REACH YOUR DESTINATION!

I don’t know what tiredness may pose as in your life presently, is it; Sickness, Lack, Tribulations, Trials, Distractions, pressure, confusion or circumstances? My counsel to you today is never allow it to affect your pursuit for possession, never allow it to affect your vision. You may not look like it now but surely you will become it, THE BEGINNING MAY BE SMALL BUT YOUR END SHALL BE GREAT (Job 8 vs 7). Gideon and his army kept pursuing though they were tired because of their zeal and passion to be delivered from captivity, in order to experience a change of level, in their weakness God’s strength was made perfect and victory affirmed (2Corinthians 12 vs 9).  

Understanding the mystery behind urgency outlives even those that carry it. Gideon had died for years but till date still remembered. LIVE FOR SOMETHING GOOD, DON’T BECAUSE OF TODAY’S HUNGER OR THIRST DESTROY YOUR FUTURE ENJOYMENT, remember Esau, he later sought it with tears but couldn't lay hold again.

ACTIVATE WHAT IS INSIDE!

“He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water (John 7 vs 38)”.

       All thanks to God for His daily benefits, we are already in the New Year, despite how though 2020 came at us, we scaled through it all. As you read this article, it is my prayer that you shall be blessed and there shall be a change (AMEN).

A man may carry what will liberate a nation but when not known it can’t be in a functioning mood, that will not be your portion in Jesus Name. Brethren there are seeds of greatness in you, there are depth nations crave and await for, which are deposited right inside of you, there is a river right inside which many are thirsty of and the only step required of you is to ACTIVATE IT. 

To activate means to put work, a gadget may possess much functions but until its activated it is of no use. DISCOVERY OF SELF BRINGS ABOUT THE ACTIVATION OF GREATNESS, YOU ARE NOT A NON-ENTITY RATHER A SON/DAUGHTER OF ROYALTY. The gift of a man makes room for him (Proverbs 18 vs 16), activate that gift inside of you. People came far and near just to hear the words of King Solomon (1King 10:6-7), it is my prayer to you that men, nations will gather because of you in Jesus Name. KING SOLOMON ACTIVATED IT LIKEWISE BROTHER DANIEL, THE CHARGE TO YOU ALSO IS TO ACTIVATE WHAT’S INSIDE.

There is that unique thing God gave you (Ephesians 4:7-8), discover it, activate it and be diligent with it, that is enough to make you sit with Kings and Queens (Proverbs 22 vs 29), God’s thought towards you is of good and not evil (Jeremiah 29 vs 11), more reason why He deposited it inside of you IT’S YOUR RESPONSIBILITY NOW TO ACTIVATE IT. 

   "God has done His own part by GIVING you, it is left to you to do your part by ACTIVATING IT."

#At every junction you get to in life VALUE PEOPLE, irrespective of what you have honor people and value them. One thing about life is we may not be able to tell who God has positioned to help us at our next phase of life, the man/woman you dishonor now may be your Strategic helper sent by God. Yes prayers work wonders BUT THERE IS A PLACE OF WORKING, THERE IS A PLACE OF DOING OUR OWN PART, many had only being hearing the Promises yet to experience it because they dishonor men. Honor men and value all that come into your path, Good Morning.

POWER OF SALVATION

The Bible says “The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple” (Psalm 119: 130). If the Word of God is likened to be our LIGHT then it’s only through studying it that we can be kept from darkness and falling in this world. I pray that as you continue to read on the Light of God (i.e. Word of God) will over shadow your life in Jesus Name (AMEN).

WHO IS GOD?

“In Christianity there is always a starting point but there is no end to our spiritual growth because the Lord is infinite in all things”. Just as PASTOR E.A ADEBOYE usually says 'God is my creator, my helper, my everything, my provider, the one that make me feel as if I have the whole world, my everything, my heart, the one that has always been with me, for me and will never leave me, my comforter even when everything is bad He comforts me and gives me hope that all is well, HE IS MY FIRST, the only one that can say YES to my life when others are saying NO and nobody to object Him, the POWERFUL GOD, HE IS THE KNOWN GOD THAT KNOWS THE UNKNOWN, He is wiser than our wisest imagination, He is the one who was not created by anybody but He created everything, He is the God that is very hard to understand or imagine and that’s why the Bible often need to draw God in human colours in order for us to try and understand His nature'.

GO YE INTO THE WORLD

Any Church activities without Evangelism is nothing but LEAVES, this is because the Church is made up of people. The goal of evangelism is tailored to what Apostle Paul writes "How them shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?" (Rom. 10:14).  Your life is attached to several souls and several destinies are hanged you. Your existence is not just by accident, the pains you are going through is not just for fun there is a reason behind it. Have you sat down to know that purpose? Have you sat down to decode that general calling given to all mankind?

WHO IS ON THE LORD’S SIDE

This is a question Heaven is asking this generation, Jesus looks down from Heaven and see sin reigning, with deep anger and groaning He asks “Who is still on my side?”. Is there still anyone who will not give up on me? Is there still that person who will stand and hold up my banner? We are going to study a generation together and use it to check our Faith and stands in Christ. Moses the servant of God whom God was using during his time as a channel and source of solution to the people of Israelites, a time came when God wanted to speak with His servant and He called unto him “And the Lord said unto Moses, come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them" (Exodus 24:12) and without hesitation Moses went up to the Mount and waited for the Almighty God. The very first 6 days it was just a cloud Moses was into, he is yet to enter the very PRESENCE, to my own little understanding I believe for that 6 days the Great God was transforming him (Moses) from the flesh (Natural) to the Spirit (Spiritual) so that he can be able to enter into His Presence and remain alive, also that the illumination of God’s presence might give unto Moses Strength as long as the conversation will last.

THE LORD’S SONG

 Glory to God in the highest for another opportunity given unto us today, to learn at His feet. My Prayer today is that may the eyes of our understanding be opened in Jesus name (AMEN). We shall be considering a very important aspect in Christianity which is “SONGS” musical Sounds. How important is this in our Christian race? Does it end here on earth alone?  However, songs are musical sounds expressed in words, it speaks directly to the HEART, it has the power to direct and influence a man. A notable man of God Daddy E.A Adeboye once say and I quote “Songs are spiritual languages that can reach beyond intellect to touch the Heart of God”. 

TAKE AWAY THE DROSS

What maybe flowing through your mind is what does DROSS mean and how does it relate with Christianity? Why must it be taken away? In this book the Holy Spirit will be revealing the deep answers to these questions unto us. Let relax and read through as the Holy Spirit teaches us. As regard to Oxford Dictionary, DROSS refers to ‘waste or impure matter’, impurities in metal’. Bro Gbile in one of His teachings said “Dross means what reduces the Shining capacity of a Silver”. Coming to the Spiritual realm DROSS are ‘weights and impurities that keep us from attaining the level at which god wants us to manifest in him’, which was much emphasized in (Heb. 12:1) “…let us lay aside every weight and the sin which doth easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us”. Meaning if we fail or reluctant to laying aside these DROSSES (Weights and Sins that easily beset us) running the race will be a very hard thing.

                                                                                                                    This is a great and important issue which every Christian need to understand, how does it reflect in our Christian race? In our last series we have been made to know that the first thing we need to do is to “lay aside those weights and sin doth so easily beset us” in order for us to run the race, Heb 12:1 “Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,”

If you will notice that verse very well is ended with a punctuation mark (,) which shows continuation i.e. putting aside every weight and sins alone do not guarantee us running the race well, there is something else which is very important also in order for us to run the race well, I pray that the eyes of our understanding will be opened as the Lord teach us in Jesus name (AMEN). Heb 12:2“Looking unto Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith; who for the joy that set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God”. The important sentence we will be looking at in that verse is “looking unto Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith”.

What does it mean to look? According to Oxford Dictionary   Looking or to look means to face a particular direction, to pay attention to something or to examine something so closely. In the context of our textual source, to look means RELYING ON SOOMEONE WITH NO OTHER PLAN B. The next thing to do after laying aside every weights and sins is to look (i.e. pay attention to something or someone.), why laying aside every weights and sins comes first is because if you don’t lay them away you won’t be able to look up. The question to you now is Who do you look up to? What are those things that you pay attention to? Search through yourself and see if you have rightly set your priorities, it’s a pity that many of us pay attention to these worldly things so much that the weights we lay aside before comes upon us again but now with greater force, many of us look up to our pastor and G.O as our lord and balance “whatever and anything my pastor does is rights for me to emulate”. Who told you that? “the fact that he got you saved or his your pastor does not make him God he is just a messenger”.

If what you claim to believe is right then the bible will have said “looking unto the ministers” but NO the Bible says “Looking unto Jesus the Author (Beginning) and Finisher (End) of our faith” there is a reason why it is been stated that way. If you must run this race and end it well then the only LIFE-LINE available for you is to look up to JESUS and Him alone. You will see some people when they are in trouble they will look up to man, and surely man will disappoint them they will now because of that say they are not going to serve God again, KNOW THIS IF YOUO DON’T SERVE HIM OTHERS WILL BECAUSE THE PROBLEM IS NOT WITH GOD RATHER IT IS WITH YOU, YOU FAILED IN SETTING YOUR PRIORITIES RIGHT.

Brethren, in times of trouble who do you look up to? You will see many people in this generation, when they are faced with trouble and tribulation or maybe had a dream they will run to their Pastor looking up to him for help forgetting that even their so called Pastor (if he is Spirit filled and of God) will have to look up JESUS before he can get answers to their requests, no wonder some fake pastors have seen it as a means of duping people because they know they are ignorant. WHY DON’T WE NOW LOOK UP TO THE MAJOR (JESUS) AND STOP RUNNING AFTER THE MINOR (MEN).

Why then is it dangerous to look up to man?

1. Vain is the help of man (Ps 60:11)
2. They are not the standard  (2Tim 2:19)
3. They can’t take you far  
4. They will disappoint and fail you
5. They can’t provide for your needs nor guarantee your safety
6. They can fall and lead you astray
7. They can’t save you
8. Many of them might be False Pastors and Fake Prophets.

Why it is good to look up to God?

1. He cannot forsake you    (Ps 9:10)
2. He is your greatest security, in him you are safe     (Ps 16:8)
3. He is the only one that supply you the Strength needed for the RACE ahead (Is 40:3; Ps 27:14; 2Cor 12:9)
4. He will give you all your heart desires (Ps 37:4; Prov 16:3)  
5. He will bless you without sorrow in it    (Ps 32:10)
6. He can never fail you
7. He is the Author and the Finisher of your faith  (Heb 12:2)
8. He is your creator and knows what is best for you  (Jer 29:11)
9. He delight in communing with you (Jer 9:24)
10. He is the only RIGHTEOUS ONE, in him there is no sin  (1Pet 2:21-24) and many more reasons to mention a few why you need to look up  to JESUS.

To make this more practical we are going to look at the life of a man in the Bible, his name is Simon Peter, we will take a look closely at a situation in his life where he had to make a decision in either to look up to Jesus or Men. “Vs 25 And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea. Vs 26 And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled saying, It is a Spirit; and they cried out for fear. Vs 27 But straightaway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; It is I; be not afraid. Vs 28 And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou; bid me come unto thee on the water. Vs 29 And he said, come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. Vs 30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried , saying, Lord, Save me. Vs 31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? (Matt 14:25-31)”.

In the story we just read 3 things happened there which I will trust God to be able to point out;

(1)    He started well: OH! What a great man of faith, out of every other disciples he seemed to have great faith, he called unto the Master “if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water (Matt 14:28)” and of a truth Jesus told him to come which he (Peter) did and started walking on water. What a great excitement, though it was not written in the bible but I perceive he was able to walk because he was looking at someone before him who was doing what he was also doing and that gave him boldness that if he (Jesus) can the I can, other disciples must had being looking at Peter like “oh this is greater than us all o, he no be our mate again” and Jesus himself will be happy that “oh I have breed a great man”.

(2)    He missed it: Despite the outstanding faith peter had, I believe he had walked very far on water even that he must be close to Jesus, but there flesh came in and something happened “But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; (Matt 14:30a)”. Do you know where the problem came from? The falling started when he took his gaze away from JESUS, he stopped looking unto Jesus but started looking at the wind and instantly he began to sink. Just like you also, your Christian journey had being great even winning souls for God and you had being looking unto Jesus but because of that physical problem, financial challenges or denial and delay you took your face off the Master and then you started sinking. Will that now be the end of your life? NO!!!

(3)    He returned back to the Master: When Apostle Paul saw that he was in trouble and keeping quiet won’t have helped you or giving excuses rather he cried and changed his ways “and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, Save me. Vs 31a And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, (Matt 14: 30b-31a)”. one thing I want to note is that, Jesus was there but his hand was folded and watching what the decision of Peter will be, but glory to God Peter took the great decision, he returned back to the old path “he looked unto Jesus again and cried” it was after that Jesus stretched forth his hand and caught him Apostle Johnson Suleman said “It is Human action that Provokes Divine Reaction”, Until when Peter acted by Crying for help Jesus didn’t React by stretching forth His  hands.  Also it does mean you are forgotten or you will die in that situation or you can’t change your ways, sure you can run back to the cross and change your ways, LOOK  UNTO JESUS ONCE AGAIN AND CRY UNTO HIM, I know him and am very sure he will hear you and bring you out like he did for Daniel, Peter, Shedrach, Meshach, Abednego, he is the same yesterday, today and forever, all is needed of you is to look unto him not any man “IF PETER HAD LOOKED UNTO THE OTHER DISCIPLES (MEN) WHO WERE WATCHING HE WOULD HAVE DROWNED RATHER HE LOOKED UNTO GOS”, both in good times and bad times, In rejoicing or tribulation, LOOK UNTO HIM, LEAN ON HIM AND ON HIM ALONE. It is well with you in Jesus name.

LAYING ASIDE EVERY WEIGHT

It is impossible for an athlete who want to win a prize or medal to now put on a load on himself or maybe he wears a heavy coat or peradventure he now puts on a keg of water on himself expecting himself to win the medal after he might have ran, Apostle Joshua Selman said “that is the path to great failure”. It is so sure that he is going nowhere and won’t win any prize or medal, though he might know how to run and even be the best athlete but as long as there is that WEIGHT upon him, it is impossible for him to run the RACE WELL, he might still try to take a step or peradventure run but the truth is he cannot run it well. NOT THAT HE LACKS THE POTENTIAL OR STRENGTH TO RUN AND WIN A MEDAL BUT THEY ARE BEING PULLED DOWN AND MADE NOT EFFECTIVE BY SOME WEIGHTS.
